L’Asymmetry Festival è un evento annuale che ha luogo a Wroclaw, Polonia. L’edizione 2012 si terrà dal 3 al 5 maggio.
L’evento è volto ad aggregare varie realtà musicali sperimentali in un singolo festival. Con generi come doom, drone, stoner rock, elettronica e persino hip-hop, la lineup del festival rispecchia gli ampi gusti degli organizzatori e di coloro che solitamente partecipano all’evento.
L’edizione 2012 vedrà la presenza, fra gli altri, di Killing Joke, Joe Lally (ex Fugazi), Aethenor, Amenra, Obake, Bohren & der Club of Gore, Red Fang, Igorrr, Broken Note, Niveau Zero. Tuttavia, l’organizzazione sta continuamente lavorando per portare nuovi nomi nella manifestazione. Del resto, in passato hanno calcato il palco realtà come Godflesh, Electric Wizard, Baroness, Jesu, Kylesa, Year of No Light, Minsk, Dalek, House of Low Culture, Weedeater, Zoroaster e tanti altri.
Questa edizione dell’Asymmetry Festival sarà ulteriormente speciale perchè per la prima volta il festival avrà luogo nella nuova location del Browar Miejski [Bourgeois Brewery] – un complesso industriale risalente al XIX secolo.
