GUNS N’ ROSES, TOOL e RIVAL SONS sono stati confermati per il “Back To The Beginning“, l’evento in programma per il 5 luglio 2025 al Villa Park di Birmingham con cui i BLACK SABBATH e OZZY OSBOURNE daranno il loro addio alle scene. Confermati in precedenza METALLICA, SLAYER, PANTERA, GOJIRA, HALESTORM, ALICE IN CHAINS, LAMB OF GOD, ANTHRAX e MASTODON.
L’attore Jason Momoa è stato ingaggiato in veste di presentatore.
Con l’aggiunta di Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), David Ellefson (ex Megadeth), Vernon Reid (Living Colour), Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe) e produttore e chitarrista Andrew Watt si arricchisce anche la lista degli artisti che suoneranno in una “all star band” assieme ai già annunciati Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan & Slash (Guns ‘n Roses), Frank Bello (Anthrax), Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Jake E Lee, Jonathan Davis (Korn), KK Downing, Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Sleep Token ii (Sleep Token), Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Wolfgang Van Halen e Zakk Wylde.
L’evento, il cui ricavato verrà devoluto in beneficenza all’Acorn Children’s Hospice di Birmingham, ha fatto registrare il tutto esaurito in soli sedici minuti dall’apertura delle vendite.
