In seguito all’annullamento del loro tour europeo e al volere dei membri della band di dedicarsi ad altri progetti, i Medication hanno deciso di prendersi una pausa. Le voci che volevano la band sull’orlo dello scioglimento sono state smentite ma il bassista Kyle Sanders ha dichiarato:

“MEDICATION has not toured since Aug. 4 and I can’t put my life on hold, Life’s too short. I don’t know what the future holds for MEDICATION but there is NO official word of a breakup. People have to keep moving forward and do other things, which is exactly what I’m doing. I don’t know anything about Blunt’s side thing, [but] I know Logan is producing records for bands, and hell, yeah, I’m pursuing my other project, which will be/IS amazing. MEDICATION has another record in its deal so you never know when or with who it will happen. Blunt has a million awesome ideas/songs. Music will be made, just not sure the formula of which it will be made up.
I admit there were problems within the band, but there was also a huge financial problem within this tour to make it happen,” Sanders wrote. “I was never 100% sure this tour would come together. I hoped it would happen but never built it up so high for yet another huge let down (let this be a lesson for anyone in anything in life).”
